I am a Territory Manager at Data2Decisions, working across all Data2Decisions markets to coordinate training and pitches and ensure a consistent global approach to our work. I’m also in Data2Decisions’ Digital team, working on Total Attribution projects and driving conversations around marketing effectiveness with media and technology companies. I joined Dentsu Aegis Network in 2010 as a graduate doing data analysis and econometrics. When Dentsu Aegis Network acquired Data2Decisions in 2012, I joined the team where I’ve been ever since.
What’s been your best opportunity so far at Data2Decisions?
Working on so many clients and learning so much about different industries. Two great opportunities come to mind – working for a big global client and using our media budget optimisation software to generate insights that made a real business impact, and working in the Digital team, which allowed me to get involved in an exciting part of the industry and build connections with media owners.
What’s been a surprising highlight?
The social side of the Network. There was once a comic book themed party – I went as a power ranger – the rest is history!
What’s the most exciting thing about being in the marketing industry now?
The digital explosion. Everything is moving so fast it’s hard to keep up but it’s so fascinating. And of course data….apparently it’s the new oil.
What’s the best thing about working at Data2Decisions?
The people – there are so many days where I’m brought to tears with laughter. Secondly the opportunity to carve out your own career. I have done so many things I wouldn’t have expected to do here.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever been given?
The industry is small, make sure you don’t burn any bridges!
